a few stepps downstairs and we find classical coffee house atmosphere. small round tables and the possibility to sit on a bench near the wall or on a chair with the rest of that small place in the back. as the observer i sit on that bench and the lovely mrs. f. gets the chair. it’s saturday around four o’clock and we have exactly one hour before the place closes.

we share the place with some elderly guys (drinking beer), a family (coke, coffee and beer) and a lesbian couple, who seems to be unsure weather holding hands is ok here or not. the servant is nice and we find enough calmness to discuss our very private topics we should have discussed long time ago, drinking chocolate.

it’s five o’clock in no time, but we are still able to order a beer and do not leave before half past five, not because forced to, but because it seems appropriate. if you are looking for a nice café, not expecting anything else but a nice café, you’re in the right place.
