the full name is "restaurant entrecote cafe > federal". and so it's clear what you have to expect as the highlight of the menu. it's huge, large or smaller piece of beef. i guess the landlord attended a marketing class and wanted to position as a meat cantina.

i don't know, if he will succeed, but i find that the name is shit. i wonder why, he isn't that consequent and called it "restaurant entrecôte cafe de paris". it's strange to call a place after a piece of meat (it' not that bad like "> gut gelaunt" - being in good mood) and to call a sauce after a café. however, i got lost in details.

the cafe is ok. but i never ate here, like i eat very rarely at the front (name of all the restaurants facing the waisenhausplatz). and as long as jasmin hutter and toni brunner (young extreme right wing members of the parliament, disciples of our new führer christoph blocher) don't poison the atmosphere, i will come back for a beer.
