we keep it short. > zünfte are normal cummunities with one difference: they do not exist geographically. exept of that, they do, what every other community does: taking care of poor people and working with long, boring lists about who was born and who just died.

they do not get tax-money, but they have a fortune from old times.

and these are the zuenfte: distelzwang, pfistern, schmieden, metzgern, obergerwern, mittellöwen, webern, schumachern, mohren, kaufleuten, zimmerleuten, affen, schiffleuten. they are organized in the burgergemeinde of bern.
