right below of the bundeshaus lays the largest and cheapest (it's free!) open air swimming pool. tough it is more fun to take a swim in the river aare than in the yellowish poolwater. i promise you will be fascinated by the view you have on the bundeshaus.

it's also the last exit for the popular rafting tour starting at thun. do not forget to be cautious when swimming or rafting in the river.
