this bar is located in the reitschule, which is the official name for the > reithalle, or in dialect just "haue". there you find also the dachstock and the > sous le pont
when you came to berne by train, you might have seen it on the right hand side just after having crossed the river aare. many people don't want that the > i-fluss bar is seen anyway. the most disturbed is > kurt wasserfallen, who is politician and member of the parliament for the liberals (you see there the irony). as he was the head of the police in bern he sent his sturmtruppen and a lorry with concrete to the > i-fluss bar. then let it fill up with conrete.
the result of this action: last christmas we met for a beer in here. the customers where pretty mixed for a anarchistic youth center. it's quiet dirty inside and there was a draught on my back.
i recommend a quick look on the homepage of > kurt wasserfallen. the picture where you can see him in a pose of a great leader says everthing.
