ideal place, to start reading the book you just bought.

the café is located in the largest book store in bern; the stauffacher. and if the weather is warm enough, i guess the roof terrace must be great.
but i found it cosy anyway. although it seems to be very cramped. you sit so close togheter, that i had the opportunity to repeat a little my english. as a girl at the table next to me got tuition. but most customers are reading a book or writing. so that the garcon isn't used to look in the eyes of his customers.
my coffee came with a parsley decoration. on the menu you find international beer specialities, the usual food you get in a café; small warm dishes, sandwiches foccacia and cakes of course. i read on their homepage that they cook from the cooking book of the week.
